Horse Facts That Will Educate Kids

One of the most beautiful animals in the world is the horse.  It is the horse that has helped humans to travel and to pull heavy loads.


**  A male horse is called a stallion and a female horse is a mare.

*****Horses can sleep both lying down and standing up.

Young horses have different names – a young male is called a colt and the young females are fillies.
